Things to do Locally

Located just outside the historic fishing port of Padstow, Little Tregonna B&B is an ideal base for a range of attractions and activities.

Activities
Walkers have the choice of the South West Coastal Path just 5 minutes away, or the Saint's Way, which passes right through Little Petherick village.  A few miles down the road, Newquay offers some of the best surfing in the country at it's renowned beaches, along with a busy nightlife scene.

Padstow of course is well renowned for its fish restaurants, in particular Rick Stein's but there are plenty of other quality pubs and eating places both in and around Padstow, including the Pickwick Inn and Ring of bells at nearby St. Issey. We are happy to provide  further informatin on request.

Attractions
As well as the delights of fashionable Padstow, the historic towns of Bodmin and St Austell are within easy reach of Little Tregonna.  National Trust members may like to sample the delights of Llanhydrock House, just outside Bodmin, and gardeners will appreciate the Lost Gardens of Heligan, also not for from Bodmin.

St Austell is home to a 150-year old brewery as well as the world famous Eden Project.

Regional Attractions

Further afield, yet still within an hours drive, is the cathedral city of Truro, with it's ancient cobbled streets and an array of both modern and traditional shops.  Nearby Falmouth also has great shopping and restaurants, plus the new National Maritime Museum.

Along the North Cornwall coast, you can travel east to the resort of Bude via Tintagel and Boscastle, or west towards the pictureque port of St. Ives.
